Recently “having a balanced life-style” is
really popular. If you want both satisfied and a healthy life, then let me give
you the most prominent tip: Balance is the key for both physical and mental
health. By the time you reach a healthy mindset, you are going to be not only
fit but also delighted.
The World is in a new era. People are not dieting
anymore. They all try to change their eating habits for the rest of their
lives. They figured out something perfect: Healthy food is delicious, and it can
be prepared in a fun way.
Eating one hundred percent clean is of
course impossible. Even if it is possible, your “mental” health will not be as
healthy as your “physical” health. Therefore, you can (should) enjoy some “fun
and enjoyable” food as well. I call them as “fun” food as it is a must for mental
health. Consuming that food is really important, if you want to be motivated to eat healthy and
happy throughout the day (on social media, people call this “staying sane”). However,
you should not forget that you should eat healthy most of the time if you want
a healthy body.
You may have a bias against “eating clean
and healthy”. Most of the people believe that healthy food is only healthy, neither
delicious nor satisfying. But let me give you a secret! This mindset is completely
wrong! Who says that having broccoli with tuna fish is not delicious? Does not this
snack idea seem delicious: cucumbers, cheese, grapes and some peaches? I can
feel that while you are imagining these healthy meals you get excited to eat them!
If you do not want to eat these at all,
then I can give you another tip! I am really sorry, but you have to eat these
healthy food (of course other healthy snack options are available). However, while
preparing your plate, you can design where you are going to put the cheese, how
you are going to cut the cucumbers or how to serve your delicious peaches. When
you include some fun activities while preparing, you will enjoy your meal much
more. If you are able to maintain this eating habit for a several days, you
will feel that your energy and mood have increased. After a while, you are
going to want to eat healthy and clean. We call this change as “healthy mindset”.
By adding some fun food as well in your life, you can live a happy and healthy
life for ever.
The easiest way to balancing your eating
habits is doing sports. Everyone should do sports for at least forty-five
minutes or an hour every day. If you “do not” (Not having time and not making time
are totally different things. If you dedicate yourself to change yourself, your
body, your health and your mindset; then you are definitely going to make time to
do sports.) have any time to do sports each day, then you should choose at
least four days per week to hit the gym. Of course, if you are going to workout
for four days per week, you have to increase the time to one and a half hour.
There are many different sports options. Fitness
and cardio are the most popular one nowadays. In my opinion they are the best
option. I love running and doing some abs exercises, so I can recommend these
to everyone who are on their way to getting a “healthy mindset”. If you do not
want to run, there are other options as well. Dancing, swimming or playing
tennis are activities which are both fun and help to maintain your ideal
weight. I can give a tip for the people who cannot have the motivation to do
sports: Listening to music, doing some phone calls or dreaming about anything
can be helpful. With these extras, while your body is fatigued, you are going
to be boosted mentally.
To sum up, you do not have to “diet” in
order to get a healthy body. If you want not only a healthy body, but also a happy,
satisfied and healthy “life” then you should create a balance. Doing sports,
eating clean for the most of the time and adding some fun food is the key to
create a balance. Nothing is impossible, when you reach that “healthy mindset”.
