A DREAM HAS BECOME TRUE

Dear Diary,

I really can’t believe it! Finally! I can feel that you have been curious about what I am going to write, right my trustworthy friend? Finally, I have been invited to the universities in Europe to present my books. As I have written many books on different topics in such a little age, everyone wants to know what I have written. Actually, I believe that they cannot imagine a high school student might be able to write nice, hearth-touching, philosophical and self-development books. Therefore, they want me to visit many places in different countries at Europe and to introduce both myself and my books. Anyways, I think, I should tell you everything from at the beginning…

You may have remembered that I have told you two months ago… I have been invited to a well-known university in Turkey. First of all, I have given a speech about myself. I told about my writing adventure and what my books about. I had written a self-development book for students at high school, a philosophy book where I share my own ideas, three books where I have gathered my all essays in different languages -Turkish, English and Spanish-, and a sweet, light, heart-touching love story.

Throughout my presentation, I could see that all eyes were on me. Everyone in the auditorium were listening to me absolutely carefully, which was really flattering. After my speech, people lined up -at least five hundred people- were waiting to see my books and get a signature of me. I met cute and curious people. They were all asking me many questions and having a nice conversation.

Suddenly, I encountered with a middle-aged woman, who was a professor in the Oxford University. She offered me to make the same presentation in some universities at Europe as well! Can you believe or imagine it!!! I really can’t, but I should believe it because I have been travelling for three weeks!

I know you are excited, so let me continue… Approximately five weeks later from the exhibition in Turkey, I started packing my clothes and books, of course. My first station was “the Oxford University”. I had a thrilling airplane trip, and I went to a breath-taking hotel where the meals and the beverages were amazing! I was living a dream life… Next day, I did the same presentation at the University. Afterwards, the professor and a small group of another people showed me around. We went to British Museum, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Hyde Park, Stonehenge and Windsor Castle. We had delicious meals and incredible desserts. Then the trip has continued…

My next stop was France. I would always want to visit France as I found its atmosphere really romantic. By the time I arrived at my spectacular hotel, some professors came. They bring me to a wonderful café in Nice. After we ate our croissants and talked about literature, we went to the University of Paris. I repeated my conference, and interestingly everyone was looking at me in an amazed way. Still, I could not understand why everyone was impressed about my speech and my books. The only thing I have done is my passion about reading, writing and literature. This might be my little secret while writing my “popular” books. My speech was well enough, I guess. Then the professors and I went to Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower and Palace of Versailles. It was an incredible tour!

Next day I went to Spain, which was my final destination. I gave a speech at University of Barcelona. Most of the people were interested in my book which was in Spanish. I should admit that was really “cool”! We ate paella, tapas and churros. The atmosphere of our restaurant was beautiful “amigo”! We went to Plaza Mayor and had a sweet tour at Sagrada Familia.

All in all, now I am at home, and telling about my fantastic journey. As I was very excited when I arrived at home, I wanted to write everything. Now it is too late! Good night, dear diary…

IMPLEMENTING A CHARACTER IN ONE STORY TO ANOTHER “MATILDA AND THE SEVEN DWARFS”

  PREFACE I really enjoy our English lessons, especially while analyzing lovely and entertaining texts or writing magnificent pieces. Nowadays we are studying “how to write a descriptive essay” which I like very much. While describing things I loved using personifications, similies and metaphors that makes the piece much more attractive. I would like to use the information in this project while describing the circumstances, the characters and the setting in my “implemented story”. While writing an “almost-new” story, I love using some characters or plots that are well-known and enjoyable. By using those well-known things, the story becomes much more interesting than ever!
