COMPETITION IN STUDYING, COMPETITION IN LIFE

 


Do not you think that life itself is a competition? So, why would not a highly competitive environment be perfect for studying? Both in studying and in real life a highly competitive environment affects people positively. This competitive environment creates discipline, increases the efficiency, and helps students to have role models who will keep them motivated during their studying journey.

Competitions create discipline for everyone, as one can see how much the other people study for something. Schools create discipline by forming a competitive atmosphere. The more the students spend their time at school or courses, the more they become competitive and disciplined. For instance, students were not disciplined during the coronavirus pandemic. The main reason why they were not disciplined was they did not have the access to a highly competitive studying environment. Although they tried hard to be disciplined while studying, they could not create the same atmosphere of school at home. Therefore, a highly competitive environment helps the students to create a disciplined studying style.

Secondly, students’ efficiency increases while studying in a competitive environment as they become much more ambitious. When one studies or works at the same environment with his/her rivals, they become much jealous than before which leads them to study more and effectively. Therefore, a highly competitive environment not only makes people more ambitious, but also leads them to study efficiently. The environment is definitely one of the best ways to increase students’ efficiency.

Furthermore, a competitive environment can help students to have role models who will keep them motivated during their studying journey. Being motivated increases the energy of any person. Do not you agree that motivation is a fundamental necessity before start studying? Once you step into a highly competitive environment, your motivation increases day by day. Therefore, in a competitive environment students encounter with their “role models” who will keep the students’ motivation at the maximum level. Motivation and studying is the key to access to success…

People may claim that students should not be compared. However, life itself is a competition. As students’ lives will be much more competitive than before -after they graduated-, they all should learn how to fight against their ambitious and successful rivals. A competitive environment prepares the students for their bright futures.

Another group of people defend that students might be affected negatively psychologically. Although students get affected by their studying environment, it is a must to get used to this stressful lifestyle. If a student cannot overcome this problem, he/she will not be able to survive in real life.

In conclusion, a competitive environment makes the students more disciplined, motivated and efficient while studying. I strongly believe that the competition during studying will also affect the students positively in real life. Competitive environment brings success.

    What ideas and images do we associate with a healthy lifestyle? In my opinion the main point is balancing our lives. Most of the people think that a healthy lifestyle includes only eating vegetables and fruits, doing tons of cardio and not even tasting the meals that include carbohydrates. This idea is wrong.
