Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, everyone in
the world is sparing time at home. Almost everybody thinks that being stuck at
home is a very boring circumstance and an unpleasant situation. However, there
are many things that we can all do at our home to have fun and enjoy the life. By
trying some simple activities one can prevent boredom very easily during the
pandemic.
One should be able to know what to do while
sitting at home. There are actually many hobbies and other activities that all
the people around the world can do. Sports are one of those activities. If you do
sports, you can be relaxed both physically and mentally. As we cannot go out
and as remain active as before the pandemic, doing sports daily at home would
be great for our health. You may ask “what sports can I do at home”. If you
search on the internet or on the Instagram, you can find lots of home workout
videos. By doing those workouts, you would not get bored at home and be a
healthy person.

Secondly,
writing is a perfect hobby for everyone. You may write some articles, essays,
short stories or maybe even a novel! I have always loved writing essays and
short stories since I was ten years old. It really is a passion for me. We
have been stuck at home almost for a year. I wish I had started to write a
novel at the beginning of the pandemic. I would have been finished it by now! |
Thirdly, reading books is also a fun activity. Almost all of us used to say that “I have no time to read”. This is high time to read books and got inspired by them. You can find a new world in each book, and each book will develop new friendships and places to visit when you want to relax, in your mind. For instance, I love reading classics. My aim is to read as many classics as I can. By reading books, you can also find interesting topics which you can write about them.
Playing any instrument will also tranquil
you. Playing the piano is a passion for me. You can play the instrument when
you feel anxious, happy or sad. It really does not matter in which mood you
are. You also do not have to know how to play an instrument to prevent boredom.
You can start learning or you can just sing your favourite song in order not to
be bored at home.

Improving
or learning a new foreign language is also very helpful. In order to develop
your “language- learning-skills”, you can watch movies and series, listen to
music and read books in that language. As you would be concentrated on
learning the language, you would not get bored. |

Sparing more time with our families is one
of the best parts of the pandemic. Trying to cook a new food with your mother
is really a fun activity. Watching movies and playing games together are also
very entertaining. Having a chit chat with our relatives and friends via video
calls is perfect. While socializing, we can all prevent boredom.
The last but not the least is spending time
for ourselves. Watching television or Netflix, doing a skincare routine just
for fun, and sparing time by just staring at the photos on the Instagram are
enjoyable things that we can all do.

All in
all, there are lots of activities and hobbies which everybody can does during
the pandemic. By creating this kind of lovely activities, you would prevent
the boredom while sitting at home all day long. |
