A MOMENT

 



It was a magnificent day, and the place was breath-taking. The weather was wonderful, and the air was as severe as the flume. Although the region was quite neglected, the buildings were as merry as the children who were playing in the water.

The elderly bridge was smiling to the adults. As he was an old-timer, he seemed very wise like an old man. They were best friends with the sun, and that day they were getting along with each other as it was a shiny and heart-warming day.

The marble paving was also very peaceful and self-complacent as he freshened with the cool water of the flume. The graceful flume was alive and vivid. She felt as a new-born baby as the summer has just arrived. The day before, she missed the children that were playing and the people who were sailing on the dated boats. The boats were daydreaming and thought about the past. They were delighted for that glamorous day.

The solitary tree felt a little bit desperate as he did not have a lot of friends, although the buildings around him were trying to converse with him. Therefore, the enormous alone tree was merry. He nobly greeted one of his best and the oldest friend, who was the wise Sun. The buildings with small windows were having a chit chat. One can say that they were gossiping.

The children were making a leap like a professional ballerina who was soaring as a swan, while jumping into the cool and refreshing water. The adults generally forgot to smile and laugh as a child, like the silent and joyless neglected area. However, that day was special… They all remembered to be happy and joyful while their children were swimming.

The citizens’ clothes were talking and revealing that they were from the middle class. There was a middle aged but athletic man who was sailing the boat really masterly. He might feel as Don Quijote while fighting with the waves through the flume.

After this great day, everybody went to their homes. The nature, the buildings and the citizens all have fallen asleep…

IMPLEMENTING A CHARACTER IN ONE STORY TO ANOTHER “MATILDA AND THE SEVEN DWARFS”

  PREFACE I really enjoy our English lessons, especially while analyzing lovely and entertaining texts or writing magnificent pieces. Nowadays we are studying “how to write a descriptive essay” which I like very much. While describing things I loved using personifications, similies and metaphors that makes the piece much more attractive. I would like to use the information in this project while describing the circumstances, the characters and the setting in my “implemented story”. While writing an “almost-new” story, I love using some characters or plots that are well-known and enjoyable. By using those well-known things, the story becomes much more interesting than ever!
