IS EVERYTHING THAT WE SEE ON THE INTERNET CORRECT?

 

We all use the internet, but sometimes too much different information can mislead us. We can get lost while reading the news or watching videos. Especially, if we encounter controversial information. Nowadays, the internet is used much more due to coronavirus so we have to learn which information is true and which is wrong.

Some of the information may not be correct. Wrong information can mislead people. On the internet everybody says that 2020 is getting worse day by day. Some of them say that aliens will come and destroy the Earth before 2020 finishes. Another group of people say that the global warming is getting much worse than we expected. At the same time a different group of people say that the Sun is in a dangerous position, so we will enter in an Ice Age again. Be realistic. How can global warming and the Ice Age can occur at the same time? It is certain that at least one of these theories is wrong. So we must look for the true information.

Most of the people share beautiful lives on social media platforms that probably they do not live. Almost all of us use the social media platforms such as Instagram and Youtube. Everybody shares the most beautiful photos of themselves. Most of the time they photoshop their pictures or act like they are having fun. For instance, a group of teenagers will meet in a café. Usually they start fighting and arguing before they meet. However, at the end of the day they take photographs that they are having extremely good time. All in all nobody lives a perfect life as they share on social media.

If some precautions are taken, these problems can be prevented. In order to prevent these misunderstandings, we should not believe in everything that we see on the internet. We must research everything from different resources. If you know several languages, you should search it from those other languages as well. Also while researching you should use the well-known websites. For instance, if you read something in news which does not seem true although it has written that a popular organization gave that information, you should also check that organization’s website. By searching properly, one can solve these problems easily.

To sum up, the internet can give us some wrong information. However, by searching, reading, listening and questioning we can reach the most correct information. Do not believe in everything you see on the internet, only search to reach the correct ones.

    What ideas and images do we associate with a healthy lifestyle? In my opinion the main point is balancing our lives. Most of the people think that a healthy lifestyle includes only eating vegetables and fruits, doing tons of cardio and not even tasting the meals that include carbohydrates. This idea is wrong.
